
ANNETTE MAGNUSSON
Co-founder
Annette’s focus is on leadership, innovation and policy advocacy. She works with clients primarily in matters relating to systematic change, through research and trainings, and is engaged in high-level dialogues with management to foster change.
Prior to co-founding Climate Change Counsel, Annette was Secretary General of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC). She holds more than 20 years’ experience of international law, including from global law firms, and is the founder of the crowdsourcing initiative Stockholm Treaty Lab.
Annette is a frequent speaker on law and climate change and has been called “a thought leader and global star” by Global Arbitration Review. She was listed as highly recommended in Who’s Who Legal 2022 for her “significant experience in complex investment and commercial arbitration proceedings.” Annette also accepts arbitrator appointments.

ANJA IPP
Co-founder
Anja's work focuses primarily on the intersection of international investment law, energy transition and climate law.
Prior to co-founding Climate Change Counsel, Anja served as legal counsel at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. She also spent a few years as an international disputes lawyer at a big firm in New York. Earlier in her career, Anja was a writer and editor at policy-oriented think tanks in Kabul and Washington, D.C.
Anja holds a JD from Columbia University in New York, where she was a Paul and Daisy Soros Fellow and a recipient of the Parker School Certificate in International and Comparative Law. She also earned an LLM in International Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam and served as a summer clerk at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.
Anja is a frequent speaker on investment law and arbitration reform, energy transition, and the role of lawyers in the climate transition.

ANDRINA KJELLGREN
Co-founder
Andrina focuses on matters related to human rights and climate change, management of climate-related global projects, and communications. Her experience includes advising energy company on integration of climate perspectives in human rights policies and research on international law and climate change.
Prior to co-founding Climate Change Counsel, Andrina worked as adviser to the World Health Organization on human rights integration in health programme. As legal counsel at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, she managed Stockholm Treaty Lab, a global crowdsourcing initiative on green investment policies.
Andrina holds an LLM in Environmental Law from Stockholm University and LLM in American Legal System from University of Minnesota where she conducted research projects on climate law. She is also the Chief Operating Officer for a Swedish non-profit IT for Children with operations in Ghana.
