What we do

Building on our experience in investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS), our primary focus since the start has been contributing to the reform process in Working Group III of the United Nations Commission of International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). We also regularly participate in global climate events, including the annual COP-meetings under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

International investment law

Climate Change Counsel promotes climate-centric reform of investment treaties to align with and support global goals. We also advocate for reinterpretation and innovative thinking in the implementation of existing treaties by arbitration professionals.
